Jack Dover took the lead of Saturday’s main event at Off Road Speedway with 17 laps to go. From there, the Springfield, Nebraska, driver would slice and dice his way through traffic to the win by 5.1 seconds over the rest of the field.
The win for Dover is his third win at the Norfolk, Nebraska, in four events there. Saturday’s card was co-sanctioned between the Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprint Series presented by Malvern Bank and the Property Solutions of America Midwest Sprint Touring Series.
Dover started fourth on the field. It was Ryan Roberts taking the lead at the drop of the green. The defending Nebraska 360s champion paced the field for the first eight laps before Dover used a big slide job to take the lead.
At the checkered, it was Dover ahead of Roberts. Third went to Jason Martin with Eric Lutz in fourth and the Saldana Racing Products Pole Award recipient Brant O’Banion in fifth.
Heat races were won by Martin, Gregg Bakker and Don Droud, Jr.
Up next for MSTS, this Friday night it’s a return trip to Minnesota’s Jackson Motorplex before the River City Rumble with the Nebraska 360s at Park Jefferson Speedway.
