WSS Returns To Grays Harbor Raceway On Saturday August 4th; Final Leg Of 2018 Wingless Sprint Shootout

Elma, Washington- The third and final race of the Walker Racing Development/Modern Machinery Wingless Sprint Shootout is this Saturday, August 4th. The race will be sanctioned by the Wingless Sprint Series and marks the ninth race of the 2018 season.
So far, it’s a three-way tie for most wins with the tour. Kyle Miller, Rob Lindsey, and Tim Alberding all have two victories to their credit. Pat Canfield and Lindsay Barney each have bested the series once.
Some additional contingencies will be up for grabs during the night. They include Maxline Custom Cases Fast Time $100.00 award, Dash for Cash for $100 sponsored by Rob Lindsey, Summerfield Golf Course heat winners receive $50.00 each, #KarenStrong 8th finisher gets $100.00, #KarenStrong 11th finisher gets $100.00, #KarenStrong 13th finisher gets $50.00, #KarenStrong Last finisher gets $50.00, SpeedMart Inc. Hard Charger receives $40 certificate, and the Security Race Products "Lucky Dog" is worth $75.00 certificate.
The Wingless Sprint Series has visited Grays Harbor Raceway five times and completing four features. Unfortunatley the last visit, on June 9th, was washed away before the start of the main event. Rob Lindsey has three wins at the 3/8-mile clay oval, including May 26th of this year, while Pat Canfield is the only other winner at the facility.
