TULSA, Okla. (July 31, 2018) - After a successful two nights of traditional micro sprint racing last weekend, Port City Raceway is back to Weekly Championship Cup racing this Saturday night.
All six classes: POWRi Outlaw, POWRi Sportsman, POWRi Non-Wing, POWRi A-Class, POWRi Restricted and POWRi Junior Sprints will be in competition.
Brock Berreth is in command of the POWRi Outlaw class. Frank Flud sits in second 70 points back. Curtis Jones is third. Kris Carroll fourth and Spencer Mason rounds out the top five.
51 points separates Ryan Cody and Jeremy Wickham in the POWRi Sportsman title chase. Dave Nicholson currently sits in the third position. Randy Myers is fourth and Darrius Myers brings up the top five.
Curtis Jones leads the point standings in the POWRi Non-Wing class holding a 31 point lead over Frank Flud. Jake Nail sits in the third spot with Jerry McGinnis fourth and Ronnie James fifth.
In POWRi A-Class competition, Frank Flud leads the way with a 52 point lead over Caleb Pence. Jake Nail holds down the third spot 88 points back with Steven Curbow fourth 117 points behind and Avery Goodman fifth 279 points behind the leader.
Shawn Mahaffey leads Baron Silva by 26 points in the POWRi Restricted class. Ryker Pace brings up the podium in third. Kaden Smith fourth and Brody McLaughlin fifth.
The POWRi Junior Sprint class is being led by Hayden Mabe with a 51 point advantage over Brody McClelland. Jase Blevins hangs onto third. Bryson Mosley is fourth and Kailey Roller fifth.
Saturday nights races get underway at 8pm. Hot Laps begin at 7:30pm and Gates open at 5pm.
Adults are just $10 to get in. Kids 6-12 & Seniors are $6. Kids 5 & Under along with Veterans are FREE! Pit passes are $30.
