Saturday’s “Kindoll Classic” at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway includes not only the AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Cars but USAC Western Ford Focus and Focus Young Guns competition as well.
Defending two-time USAC/CRA titlist Mike Spencer continues his quest for a record third consecutive title and is a comfortable 163 points ahead of runner-up Danny Sheridan entering Saturday’s program.
Spencer won last year’s Kindoll Classic and is one of four Perris feature winners so far this year, taking the March race at the half-mile dirt oval and breaking David Cardey’s four-race winning streak August 28. Other 2010 USAC/CRA winners at The PAS are Damion Gardner, Greg Bragg and Cardey.
Spencer has graced the Perris podium five times in 2010, with two wins and three seconds. Sheridan has four podium finishes including a second and three thirds. Sheridan finished third in last year’s “Kindoll Classic.”
