Jake and his 7p JOES Farrell FrameWorks chassis WINS The 2018 Clay Cup Nationals Super 600 Open/Outlaw title in Deming, Wa from 11th place!
The 40 lap main event on Saturday night was one heck of an exciting one. Jake took the initial green flag from eleventh place to hunt down each car in his path to the checkered flag in impressive fashion. He used the high side and the low line to methodically plan each pass as well as using each restart to his advantage. With just 5 laps till the end, he completed the pass to take the lead and never looked back. Having Jon Farrell of Farrell FrameWorks and Joe Constance of JOES Racing Products at the track for setup help was a huge help as well as Yoshimura R&D and Guhl Motors on the phone for assistance, made this a winning team! Deming Speedway put on a great race and gave us a great track all week long. To win this notoriously known race and highest paid race on the West Coast means so much to Jake. To give his sponsors and supporters this win means more than he can express. Every sponsor supplies him with winning products every time he hits the race track and to give them this title, some their first, proves they are winners! Thank you to all the fans, friends, and family for always encouraging, supporting, and believing in Jake.
