Historic Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin hosts the IRA ALLSTAR CHALLENGE this Thursday Night, July 26th. This event was originally scheduled on May 20th but rained out. This race has the potential to be one o the biggest single day sprint car races of the season with both the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 and the Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series co-sanctioning the event. A solid field of cars is fully expected and will include Tony Stewart. Joining "Smoke" on the All Star side will be point leader California's Cason Macedo, Texas pilot Aaron Ruetzel, Chad Kemenah and Jac Haudenschild from Ohio, former NASCAR star and WoO Champ Dave Blaney, Paul McMahan, Parker Price-Miller and more. The IRA will try to defend their home turf led by June Angell Park winner and current point leader Scotty Thiel who will be joined by 8-time IRA Champ and multi-time Angell Park winner Bill Balog, past IRA champs Jeremy Schultz and Scotty Neitzel, Illinois traveler Jake Blackhurst, plus Steve Meyer, Brandon McMullen, Mike Reinke, Russel Borland, and many more.
Pit Gates open at 1pm, with Grandstand gates at 3:30. Engine Warm ups are at 5:30 with Hot Laps scheduled for 6:00, followed by Sprint time trials, and racing to follow. The Badger Midgets are also on the card. Adult General Admission is $30, Students are $20, and kids 12 & under are FREE. Pit Passes are $35.
