USAC Wingless Sprints Oklahoma Spotlight Driver: #51 Ryan Dean
This week’s Spotlight focuses on Ryan Dean driver of the #51 USAC/WSO Sprinter and I found out that Ryan is a single young man.
Q/A
Breakfast of choice? Ryan just needs a bottle of H2O to get his day rolling.
Favorite Track? Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Oklahoma and he enjoys the ¼ mile bull rings the most.
First Race Car? The first race car he ever drove was a Cleveland Mini Sprint and first year to race was 2001. Ryan won back to back non wing micro championships at I-44 Speedway in 2005 & 2006 and is the defending (WLS) Wingless Limited Sprint Champion at Lawton Speedway.
Favorite sport other thank racing? OU Football.
Favorite race car driver? Steve Kinser.
Why #51? He always wore a #51 on his Football Jerseys and it has carried onto all of his race cars.
Why Wingless Racing? Ryan likes the wingless racing because it “puts it in the driver’s hands as with wings anyone can drive one.”
Car Owner? Gary and Cindy Dean
Crew? Crew Chief/Gary Dean and Dean’s Racing has also received help from Jarrod Hayhurst every week for the past 2 years.
Sponsors? The 51 Sprinter would not make it to the track with the support of Choctaw Liquor Depot and Baker Chassis Repair of Chickasha, Oklahoma.
You can catch the #51 USAC/WSO Sprinter in action on Friday July 27, 2018 @ Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Oklahoma!
