Bryan Hulbert – TULSA, Okla. (July 18, 2018) The Griffith Truck and Equipment ASCS Gulf South Region is back at Battleground Speedway on Saturday, July 21 with Channin Tankersley leading the way with the south Texas-based series.
Holding a 59-point advantage over Louisiana’s Koty Adams, the rain-soaked season has only seen five events contested with Tankersley winning two of those events. In the season’s last visit to Battleground Speedway on June 16, it was Adams who notched his first Gulf South sanctioned victory. Dustin Gates holds third with Caleb Martin and Ray Allen Kulhanek making up the top-five in tour standings.
Saturday, July 21 at San Jacinto Battleground Speedway goes green at 7:30 P.M. (CT) and includes Eco Stocks, IMCA Modifieds, Mod Lites, and Dwarf Cars. Admission is $15 with kids age six and under free. Battleground Speedway is located at 10625 Crosby Lynchburg Rd.
