Jackson Motorplex Welcoming Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Wednesday and $5,000-to-Win DeKalb/Asgrow presents the Midwest Power Series by GRP Motors

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (July 16, 2018) – Jackson Motorplex will host a pair of shows this week that cater to fans of various types of racing divisions.

The 4/10-mile oval welcomes the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on Wednesday for the Sturdevant’s Auto Parts 50 presented by State Bank of Fairmont. The LMSS Touring Street Stock Series as well as the Heartland Steel RaceSaver sprint cars presented by Wyffels Hybrids will also be in action as the latter division pays $600 win plus a new Keizer Aluminum Wheels right rear wheel.

Two days later a trio of sprint car classes will invade Jackson Motorplex featuring a special $5,000-to-win show for the DeKalb/Asgrow presents the Midwest Power Series by GRP Motorsports 360ci winged sprint cars during the Full Tilt Performance presents the Barb Wieskus Memorial. Heartland Steel RaceSaver sprint cars presented by Wyffels Hybrids and NSL non-wing sprint cars presented by HitchDoc are also competing on Friday.

The action begins with the first of three shows this season with late models competing. However, Wednesday is the lone visit of the year for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

Meanwhile, three of the premier classes at Jackson Motorplex will put on a show this Friday.

The three previous shows under the DeKalb/Asgrow presents the Midwest Power Series by GRP Motorsports banner this season at Jackson Motorplex have averaged more than 36 drivers each night. Ryan Bickett, Jack Dover and Thomas Kennedy have each been victorious once.

Defending track champion Kaleb Johnson has used a division-leading four top-five finishes to build a six-point lead in the Heartland Steel RaceSaver sprint cars presented by Wyffels Hybrids championship standings. Shane Fick ranks second with Brandon Bosma and Elliot Amdahl tied for third – only nine points out of the lead.

Alex Schriever owns a 19-point edge over Clinton Bruns in the NSL non-wing sprint cars presented by HitchDoc championship standings. Brandon Stevenson is third – 39 points behind Schriever.

The pits open at 2 p.m. with the main gates opening at 4 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. The pits open at 3:30 p.m. with the main gates opening at 5 p.m. and hot laps at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Wednesday’s tickets are $30 for adult general admission ($33 for adult reserved) and $15 for general admission ($17 for reserved) for children ages 6-years-old to 12-years-old. Children ages 5-years-old and younger get into the main grandstands for free. Pit passes are $40 for adults and $25 for children ages 12-years-old and younger. A pit pass combo is an additional $10 on top of the main grandstand ticket. Individual suite tickets are $75 per person.

Friday’s tickets are $17 for adults, $12 for seniors ages 62-years-old and older and $5 for students ages 13-years-old to 18-years-old. Children ages 12-years-old and younger get into the main grandstands for free. Pit passes are $35 for adults and $20 for children ages 12-years-old and younger.

Additionally, C&B Operations, LLC will give away six bicycles to children during the intermission on Friday. Children ages 10-years-old and younger can sign up as they enter the grandstand area.
