BELGRADE, Mont. - During B-Main competition at Gallatin Speedway on Friday, July 6, 2018 Roger Cummings flipped into the front straightaway wall after contact with another car.
The car landed cage first on the left side. The contact with the wall caused significant damage to the car. Safety crews and medical professionals were very quick to the scene and administered aid to Roger who, after several minutes was able to remove himself from the car. Roger did have a full containment seat and a head and neck restraint.
Roger was taken by Ambulance to the Hospital in Bozeman, Mont. According to Roger, he was treated and released with a Concussion. He is at the track and taking it easy.
The American Sprint Car Series would like to thank the safety and medical staff at Gallatin Speedway for their prompt and accurate response to the situation.
