Lucas Oil NOW600 Series Offering Big Payout and Bonus Money This Weekend

Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (July 3, 2018) – A lot of money is up for grabs this weekend during a three-race outing in Oklahoma for the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass.

The series will make its debut at Arkoma Speedway in Arkoma for the Stars and Stripes Shootout on Friday and Saturday before wrapping up the weekend at Port City Raceway in Tulsa on Sunday. All three premier classes – Stock Non-Wing, Winged ‘A’ Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class – will compete each night.

The finale of the Stars and Stripes Shootout on Saturday at Arkoma Speedway will pay $1,000 to win in both the Stock Non-Wing and Winged ‘A’ Class divisions. Additionally, there is a $300 bonus in each class for the driver who earns the most points during the three races.

Daniel Shaffer holds a 47-point lead in the Stock Non-Wing championship standings entering the weekend. Daison Pursley ranks second with Trey Burke third – only 69 points out of the top spot.

Jim Woods leads Pursley by 21 points in the Winged ‘A’ Class championship standings with Frank Flud 51 points behind Woods.

The closest battle is in the Restricted ‘A’ Class as Ryan Timms is ahead of Ryder Laplante by only eight points. Kale Drake is 36 points out of the lead.

The top four finishers in each class on Friday lock into the feature redraw on Saturday at Arkoma Speedway.

The gates open at 5 p.m. with racing at 8 p.m. both nights at Arkoma Speedway. The gates open at 3 p.m. with racing set for 6 p.m. on Sunday at Port City Raceway.

Tickets at Arkoma Speedway are $12 for adults while children ages 5-years-old and younger get in free. Pit passes are $30 per person.

Tickets at Port City Raceway are $10 for adults and $6 for seniors and children ages 6-years-old to 12-years-old. Veterans with valid identification and children ages 5-years-old and younger get in free. Pit passes are $30 per person.

Additionally, there will be a non-points race for the Stock Non-Wing division on Tuesday, July 10, at Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Okla., during a USAC P1 Insurance National Midgets event.
