INDIANAPOLIS, IN (July 2, 2018) - It's time for the annual "BORDER WARS" this weekend with the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint League. While youngster Riley Kreisel holds the lead in the championship points, WAR heads into a challenging two-day race weekend. First up is Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville, Illinois Friday night, July 6 followed up with St. Francois County Raceway in Farmington, Missouri Saturday.
In 2016 Joe B. Miller was victorious at Belle-Clair and Terry Babb picked up the St. Francois win. In 2017 Belle-Clair, unfortunately, was forced to cancel due to rain, and the following night Korey Weyant picked up the winner's check at St. Francois.
Riley Kreisel leads the championship points currently by 85 points over 2017 WAR Rookie of the Year, Quinton Benson. Ty Hulsey sits third, Korey Weyant is fourth, and Craig Carroll holds fifth.
