Hollan Takes POWRi Illinois SPEED Week Title
Belleville, IL – At the conclusion of POWRi Illinois SPEED Week, Harley Hollan captured the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro League Championship.
In the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro League portion of SPEED Week, Harley Hollan captured the title with a win at Fayette County Speedway in night two, a fifth place finish at the SPEED Week opener at Belle-Clair Speedway, and a second place finish at Jacksonville Speedway in night three. Hollan’s performance during POWRi Illinois SPEED Week has helped him inch closer to current POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro League point leader Joe B. Miller. Miller suffered two dismal finishes, an engine failure while leading at Belle-Clair Speedway, the other a DNF at Fayette County Speedway. Miller then rebounded at Jacksonville Speedway with a convincing win.
The last two nights of POWRi Illinois SPEED Week succumbed to rain, with both Macon Speedway and Lincoln Speedway forced to cancel.
