CALHAN, Colo. (June 10, 2018) - Cory Kelly cruised his way to victory in the season points opener for the Mile High Micro Sprint arm of the National Open Wheel 600 Series at El Paso County Raceway in Calhan on Saturday.
Kelly who started on the pole of the A-Main went on to take the victory. Jared McIntyre crossed in second. Skylar Rhoades finished third. Austin Ullstrom was fourth after starting ninth with Christian Galicia rounding out the top five.
Tony Steffensemeier was sixth. Timothy Snelling crossed in seventh. Hunter Rhoades finished eighth. CJ Willhite ninth and Scott Lutz rounding out the top 10.
Kelly and McIntyre was the nights two heat race winners in NOW600 Mile High Micro Sprint competition.
The NOW600 Mile High Micro Sprints will return to action Wingless on Saturday, June 23 at El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colorado.
