Inside Line Promotions – CLAY, N.Y. (June 5, 2018) – Joe Trenca will defend his home turf this weekend during Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions races in New York.
The Mucci Motorsports driver is scheduled to tackle All Star shows on Friday at Outlaw Speedway in Dundee and Sunday at Weedsport Speedway in Weedsport.
“Outlaw Speedway is one of my favorite tracks and is one of our best statistically,” Trenca said. “It’s nice to have a decent number of laps on a track when the All Stars come versus me joining them somewhere I don’t have a lot of experience.”
Trenca earned his career-best result of second place at Outlaw Speedway last season, when he posted a top-10 finish during four of his five races. He also netted a top-10 result during his only race there in both 2016 and 2015.
Additionally, Trenca produced his career-best All Star finish of ninth at Outlaw Speedway in July 2017.
“That is a confidence boost knowing that we had a good night with the All Stars last year at Outlaw,” he said. “I think we can duplicate that success and hopefully improve on it.”
Sunday will mark his season debut at Weedsport Speedway. Trenca posted his career-best result of 11th at the track last season.
“We don’t have as many laps at Weedsport,” he said. “I think we’ve only been there about four times in my career, but we’ve made gains each time out.”
