Inside Line Promotions – FINDLAY, Ohio (June 5, 2018) – Caleb Helms recently decided to pull off the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions tour.
“We have a family team and we work for our family business,” he said. “I think we’ve come to realize we can’t focus on business and full-time racing to the same degree. I’ve had a blast racing with the All Stars and we’ll continue to run All Star shows, but we’re going to scale back.”
The team is scheduled to compete this Friday at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, with the All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads FAST 410 Championship Series and Saturday at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio, with the Ohio Valley Sprint Car Association.
Helms scored his season-best result of eighth at Attica Raceway Park on April 20.
“We made the dash during both All Star shows at Attica this season so we’ve been strong to start each night,” he said. “We’re still working to gain a little bit in the main event so Friday will give us another opportunity to experiment and learn.”
Helms will make his season debut at Atomic Speedway on Saturday. He posted four top 10s in five races there last year.
“We seem to run pretty well at Atomic each time out,” he said. “It’s a fun, high-banked track. There can be a lot of slide jobs and when the top and bottom are right it’s gives you a ton of options to move around on the track.”
