Mother nature has not been kind to us for a few weeks with 2 of 3 races being rained out. It seems that Jackson Motorplex didn't want to disappoint the 46 or so racers that showed up last Friday to race, as they now have moved the rained out Friday show to this Friday. Not only did they reschedule the race but added to the purse. First place will now pay $3000 and 2nd will pay $1500 with $400 to start the A feature. This tri-sanctioned show with us, the Property Solutions of America MSTS 360 Series and the Upper Midwest Sprint Series will all converge on the shortened 4/10 mile facility in Minnesota.
The pits open at 3:30 p.m. with the main gates opening at 5 p.m. Hot laps are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. with racing to follow.
Tickets are $17 for adults, $12 for seniors ages 62-years-old and older and $5 for students ages 13-years-old to 18-years-old. Children ages 12-years-old and younger get into the main grandstands for free. Pit passes are $35 for adults.
The series will tackle the historic half mile in Knoxville, Iowa Saturday evening when the stars of the Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprint presented by Malvern Bank look to battle the Knoxville 360 regulars. This is the 3rd ever stop for the series at Knoxville Raceway. Last year, Cody Ledger was able to pick up a top 5 against the best 360 drivers in the country in the first stop to the facility in 2017.
The purse has also been increased with thanks to the Knoxville 360 Boosters and Purrsonal Care Cat Clinic in Waterloo, Iowa. First will pay $2000, $1500 for 2nd and $1000 for 3rd.
Adult admission is $15, teens 13-19 are $10, and 12 and under are free. Time trials begin at 6:45p with racing to start at 7:15p.
