Jordan Mattson, in typical 141 tradition, jumped into the pond in 141’s infield, after dominating the Auto Meter Wisconsin wingLESS series presented by the IRA A main feature action.
28 wingLESS cars attempted to qualify at the high banked 1/4th mile speedway. Saturday night’s feature winner Jimmy Sivia set quicktime over Nathan Crane and Jake Kouba. Veteran drivers Doug Schenck and Jimmy Kouba rounded out the top 5.
Heat race one would be dominated by a pair of veterans as Tim Cox would win over Doug Schenck. Former Mini Sprint standout Nick Petska would finish in 3rd with Matt Vandervere and Natalie Klemko in 4th and 5th respectively.
Heat 2 would see Jordan Mattson charge from his 5th place starting position to the win. Allen Hafford would bring his Dave’s American Muffler 38 home in 2nd ahead of Craig Campton and Nathan Crane. Jimmy Kouba would finish in the 5th and final transfer position.
The 3rd heat race would be claimed by Chris Dodd. Ryan Zielski crossed the line in 2nd and Randy Stanford was 3rd. Jake Kouba would finish in the 4th position and James Walldan was 5th.
The B feature saw Derek Crane charge from 5th to the lead and grab the win. Jimmy Sivia brought his 91 home in 2nd followed by Greg Olson and Vince Bartolotta. Chris Klemko would snag the 5th and final transfer position into the A.
The A main would be dominated by defending champion Jordan Mattson. Mattson would take the early lead and though Tim Cox challenged him, he never gave up the position. As the dust settled it was Jordan Mattson standing victorious over Tim Cox. Chris Dodd came home in 3rd over Ryan Zielski. Jake Kouba charged from his 9th place starting position to finish in 5th.
