Jack Dover took his second consecutive win with the MSTS 360s Saturday at Park Jefferson Speedway's event co-sanctioned with the Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprint Series presented by Malvern Bank. The Memorial Day Clash paid $2,000 to the winner.
Dover started on the outside of the front row, but it was Saldana Racing Products Pole Award recipient, Gregg Bakker, grabbing the initial lead. Bakker paced the field for five circuits before Dover made the most of his high-side momentum and to take the top spot. It got close for the leaders. As they went side-by –side for the lead, they split a slower car, making for three-wide excitement.
From there, it was put domination as Dover would win by more than five seconds.
Behind the Carpetland #53, Bakker and Lee Grosz swapped the second position several times. With just two to go, Bakker grabbed the runner up position and held that for good. He finished just ahead of Grosz. Jason Martin finished fourth ahead of Jody Rosenboom
Cody Ledger charged from position 17 to finish 8th. He’d earn Speedway Motors Hard Charger honors while Dusty Ballenger went from position 18 to finish ninth and earn the Autoland Hard Charger Award.
The Property Solutions of American MSTS Sprints are back in action this Friday at Jackson Motorplex.
