Bryan Hulbert – TULSA, Okla. (May 22, 2018) The car that gave rise to Indy is headlining two nights of action at the Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, N.M on Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27 with the ASCS Southwest Region at the Salute to Indy.
A combined winning potential of $5,000, with both nights offering up $2,500 to win, Arizona’s Colton Hardy looks to extend his advantage as he leads the way by 57 points over Billy Chester with Josh Shipley only 73 points removed from the top spot. Traveling from Grants, N.M., Jesse Baker holds fourth in tour standings with Nick Parker making up the top five.
Along with the ASCS Southwest Region, the weekend will include Late Models, X-Mods, Legends, USRA Stock Cars, and Mini Sprints.
Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27 both open at 5:00 P.M. with racing getting underway at 7:45 P.M. each night features a $15 general admission ticket with kids 10 and under free. Pits are $35 each night.
