[b SEBASTOPOL, CA 7-17-10] - One week after he thought his point lead was in jeopardy due to a damaged motor, Sebastopol's Bradley Terrell has returned to his winning ways at Petaluma Speedway. Saturday night, Terrell charged his way to the front of the field to take the checkered flag in the All Pro Sprint Car Series feature event.

"It felt really good to get out there and win again," said Terrell. "We've been strong all season and then when we lost our motor we weren't sure where we were going to end up. I really have to thank Scotty Dupont for stepping in and helping me out for the rest of this season."

One week ago, Dupont offered the seat of his #3 sprint car to Terrell after a broken motor on his family owned #43 car was looking as if it would sideline the team for the remainder of the season. After a third place finish last week, Terrell improved his season statistics by two more positions Saturday night on the lighting fast 3/8 mile dirt track located on the Sonoma-Marin County Fairgrounds.

"This was something this whole team needed, it was a good win and good points night," said Terrell. "I'm really thankful for being able to drive this car and giving Scotty a win was something I really want to do. They had the car set up perfect for me tonight."

Terrell started his evening off on Saturday in qualifying when he turns a 13:195 second lap to earn the 8th starting position. In the second heat race of the evening Terrell finished in the bridesmaid position which positioned him in the sixth place started slot for the 25-lap feature event.

Within one lap of the waving of the green flag, Terrell moved into the fifth position and began working his way into the top three. After overtaking Jake Haulot for the third position he closed in on the heated battle between Geoff Ensign and Camron Mendes for the lead.

With six laps complete, Terrell moved in and overtook second place from Mendes and set his sights on Ensign for the lead. After chasing the leader for the next five laps, Terrell made his move after a single file restart permitted him to move below Mendes and steal the lead. Once in front, Terrell maintained the top position all the way to the checkered flag.

"I know Mendes was committed to the top in turns one and two," said Terrell. "I was able to use the single file line up to get underneath him and once I was in front I had clean air all the way to the finish. It was a great run."

The Petaluma Speedway All Pro Series will now take the week off to permit for the Civil War Sprint Car Series. At this time, Terrell is scheduled to compete in the event aboard Dupont's #3.

Bradley Terrell wishes to thank his car owner Scotty Dupont and his marketing partners including Millhouse Glass, the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians, Randy Hanson Auto Body and Paint. Vanlare Steering Repair, A1 Shower and Mirror Incorporated, Knockout Signs, Santa Rosa Moving & Storage, Altes Engineering, and 4 Wheel Parts.
