The entire community of Wagner will welcome MSTS 360 teams and fans, and celebrate the start of the local speedway’s 2018 season with Racey Days, a racing themed twist of a community’s crazy days.
While the race featuring the Property Solutions of America Midwest Sprint Touring Series will end the day of events, the celebration starts at 11 a.m. in Wagner’s downtown. Race cars will be on display as well as food vendors and games. The Wagner Farmer's Market, Wagner Cub Scouts and the Wagner Boys’ and Girls’ Club will participate to help fund their individual projects.
"The momentum we were able to build from our successful 2017, we are so excited to have such community support,” said Rod Pattison, Wagner Speedway promoter. “Small town America, in general, struggles to bring people to their town, so it's an opportunity to bring in race fans from across the upper-Midwest. This is also a chance for our race teams to put their cars on display to showcase their sponsors and meet current and potential new fans. It's a win-win for everyone."
The entire day is a plan between Wagner Speedway, Wagner Area Growth, Wagner Chamber of Commerce and city officials.
