Inside Line Promotions – COBBLE HILL, British Columbia, Canada (April 17, 2018) – Robbie Price will make a dream come true this Saturday when he competes at the famed Knoxville Raceway for the first time in his career.
Price and BDS Motorsports are venturing to the half-mile oval in Knoxville, Iowa, on Saturday for the 65th annual season opener at ‘The Sprint Car Capital of the World.’
“We’re going to try to race at Knoxville as often as we can before the 360 Knoxville Nationals in August,” Price said. “The goal is to get as many laps in as we can and learn.”
Price is coming off a pair of top-10 finishes with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by SawBlade.com earlier this month at a big track in Texas. That has given him added confidence and momentum to tackle the famous oval in Iowa.
“I’m looking to make smart laps,” he said. “I’ve been to the track once a couple of years ago as a crew guy. I watched how people raced and I’ve seen videos, but you can only get so much from that compared to what you learn by racing yourself.”
Price said he anticipates competing at Knoxville Raceway a handful of times before the 360 Knoxville Nationals.
