Inside Line Promotions – FINDLAY, Ohio (April 12, 2018) – Caleb Helms is bound for Central Pennsylvania this weekend when he will tackle an Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions tripleheader versus the Pennsylvania Posse.

The action begins on Friday at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg before Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal hosts an event on Saturday. The weekend finale is Sunday at Bedford Speedway in Bedford.

“It’s always a big challenge anywhere we race in Central Pennsylvania because of the level of talent,” Helms said. “Whenever you produce good results when facing off with the Pennsylvania Posse it’s earned and our focus this weekend is to produce three good results.”

Helms enters this weekend with a dozen races under his belt, which is the most he’s ever had entering the points portion of an All Star season.

“I feel like it’s been really good for us getting those races in, going out and braving the cold and taking those long road trips,” he said. “That’s really helped us get better acclimated to those tracks and get more seat time.”

Helms posted his career-best result of third place at Williams Grove Speedway last month.

“You have to slow down and not overdrive it,” he said. “I’m getting more experience and it’s becoming more natural. Although the tracks are big and fast, when they slow down you have to get it in there as fast as you can without going past that point. If you do that you defeat the purpose. There’s a fine line of having the right amount of speed and not slipping out of the preferred racing lane.”

Helms also has laps at Port Royal Speedway this season.

“If we can build on what we’ve done so far I think we’ll be good,” he said. “We’re a lot further at this point in the season than we’ve ever been.”

Helms finished seventh and second, respectively, during two races at Bedford Speedway last year.
