Midwest Opener Cancelled

Midwest Opener Cancelled

After a second attempt to kick off racing season in the Midwest, rain has won again. Saturated grounds and an unattractive weather predictions for this weekend have resulted in the cancellation for this Saturday's USAC Amsoil National Sprint Cars Midwest opener at Lawrenceburg Speedway. This would have been the 60th running of the event. The USAC Amsoil National Sprint Cars will visit Lawrenceburg Speedway just two more times this year - July 22nd (Sprint Week) and September 29th (Fall Nationals).

This cancellation follows the March 23rd and 24th cancellation of the events at Brownstown Speedway. After two weekends of undesired weather, we hope to get back on the track next Friday (4/6) for the rain date of the "No Way Out 40" at Brownstown Speedway.
