NOW600 Joins Forces with Airport Raceway to form the Kansas Region

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (March 28, 2018) - The National Open Wheel 600 Series has joined forces with the Airport Raceway in Garden City, Kansas to form the NOW600 Kansas Region.

The Kansas Region will be the sixth region under the NOW600 Series. This partnership will help continue the growth of stock 600cc Micro sprint racing across the country by unifying tracks and series under one set of common rules.

“This is great for the sport of Micro Sprint Racing.” Commented NOW600 Series Founder, Terry Mattox. “We are excited to work with Jack Crook and the Airport Raceway by bringing them under our umbrella and start the Kansas Region as it will allow Airport Raceway to utilize all that the NOW600 Series has to offer.”

This will allow the drivers in the Kansas Region to travel to neighboring Colorado and compete with the NOW600 Mile High Micro Sprints or down to Oklahoma with the Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series when they have nights off without having to change rules.

The schedule for the NOW600 Kansas Region will be released soon.

This partnership will not effect anything other than car rules at Airport Raceway. Drivers are not required to obtain a NOW600 license, however if a driver wants the insurance policy for being a member they can register under the Kansas Region tab on the MRP portal.
