Inside Line Promotions – PUYALLUP, Wash. (March 27, 2018) – Trey Starks will return to action this weekend when Gobrecht Motorsports makes its Central Pennsylvania season debut.
The team will compete on Friday at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg and on Saturday at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown.
“I think we’re all itching to get back to the race track,” Starks said. “We figured out a few things in Florida last month so now hopefully that will help us at some of our home tracks.”
Starks posted career-best results at both tracks last season.
He earned his first career win at Williams Grove Speedway and finished with two top fives and five top 10s in 13 starts at the half-mile oval.
“We’ve developed each time we’ve been there so I feel comfortable racing at Williams Grove,” he said. “Our win last year was a huge moment and it certainly gives us confidence knowing we’ve been able to get the job done.”
Starks captured a career-best fifth-place finish to highlight seven starts at Lincoln Speedway last season.
“We have had some good runs there,” he said. “I think track position is pretty important so you need to put yourself within the first couple of rows in the A Main if you want to have a shot at winning.”
