RULES UPDATE: NOW600 Restricted 'A' Class

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (March 14, 2018) - Officials with the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass have amended the 2018 Restricted 'A' Class rules in the spirit of competition.

We have made a change to section 10 which is the engine rules. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY!

  • JOE'S RACING PRODUCTS TSO CARB ADAPTER IS MANDATORY
  • ABSOLUTELY NO TAMPERING OR ALTERING ALLOWED TO THE BOOTS OR THE PLATE. Example: NO CONES OR FUNNELING IS ALLOWED

ANY DRIVER OR TEAM CAUGHT TAMPERING OR ALTERING THE BOOTS OR PLATE WILL RESULT IN AN AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Penalties for not obeying will include:

  • Loss of all points for the season.
  • $2,500 fine.
  • One year suspension from ALL NOW600 Series events.
  • Loss of monies for that night.

The Restricted 'A' Class is a designed as a beginner class. We want to keep the competition to be on a level ground and fair for everyone.
