DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (March 13, 2018) - Officials with the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass would like to welcome the POWRi Elite Non-Wing Sprint Car Series as the title sponsor of the NOW600 National Series "Rookie of the Year" award.
Founded in 2015 by Nathan Moore, the Elite Non-Wing Sprint Car Series was formed as a non-wing 305 sprint series based in the state of Texas. Entering it's fourth season of competition in 2018, the Elite series has joined forces with POWRi and is now a "open competition" sprint series.
The 2018 Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series overall Elite Non-Wing Sprint Series Rookie of the Year will pocket a cool $1,000 pay day at the end of the season.
Rookie of the Year eligibility:
- Have not ran more than 70% of NOW600 shows prior to the 2018 season
- Must compete in 75% or more of the Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series Schedule in 2018.
- Must be a registered "National" member.
- Must run the Elite Non-Wing Sprint Car Series decal all season on your car.
