INDIANAPOLIS, IN. (March 12, 2018) - After starting seventh in the POWRi Lucas Oil Elite Sprints feature, John Ricketts picked up the win Saturday night, March 10 at 105 Speedway in Cleveland, Texas with Kyle Jones finishing second and Paul White rounding out the podium.
Johnny Miller out of Burleson, Texas started on the pole and lead the first half of the feature event before Jones got around him to take over the lead. Soon after White passed Jones and was the new leader. But, Ricketts would utilize the cushion to get around all his competitors and take home the victory.
Blake Edwards and Chase Parson were heat race winners. Tyson Hall earned the hard charger honors after starting thirteenth and finishing fifth passing eight cars total.
The POWRi Lucas Oil Elite Sprints are back in action Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 281 Speedway in Stephenville, Texas.
