Arkoma Speedway and Port City Raceway Offering Up Huge Lucas Oil NOW600 Independence Day Weekend

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (March 12, 2018) - Arkoma Speedway in Arkoma, Oklahoma and Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Oklahoma along with the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass is offering up teams a huge three-day event on Independence Day weekend in the Sooner State with a possible $4,600 on the line.

Hosting their first Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series event in 2018, the brand new 1/5 mile near the Arkansas border, Arkoma Speedway will kick things off on July 6-7.

Friday night will follow standard first day purse for the Restricted 'A' Class while the Winged A-Class and Stock Non-Wing will follow the single day purse of $500 to win and $50 to start each.

Saturday night will feature $1000 to win and $100 to start Winged A-Class and Stock Non-Wing Main Events. The Restricted 'A' Class will pay the second day/single night purse of $300 to win and $40 to start.

Moving their weekly show on July 7 to Sunday, July 8 to accommodate the two day event at Arkoma, Port City Raceway will host the final leg of the three day weekend.

Port City will feature the standard one day purse for the Lucas Oil NOW600 which is $500 to win and $50 to start Stock Non-Wing and Winged A-Class. Restricted 'A' Class pays $300 to win and $40 to start.

"We would like to send a huge thank you to Port City Raceway." commented NOW600 Series Founder, Terry Mattox. "Lee Walchli and I are very grateful that Mike and Megan Eubanks moved their event to Sunday and also sanctioning it with NOW600. That is what racing is all about. If we don't work together it will only hurt us."

To up the ante, both Arkoma Speedway and Port City Raceway each have offered up $150 a piece per class (Stock Non-Wing, Winged A-Class and Restricted 'A' Class) to give the weekends highest point driver between the weekend a $300 bonus.
