Belleville, IL – The Louisiana 600’s group will come under POWRi sanction to form the POWRi Louisiana 600’s. Primarily running both Wing Stock A Class and Non-Wing Stock A Class, the Louisiana 600’s race throughout the state of Louisiana. Through the partnership formed with POWRi, the POWRi Louisiana 600’s will be able to join up with the POWRi Align Pro Lonestar 600’s presented by K&K Earthworks to co-sanction more events. This will help promote the growth of 600 microsprint racing throughout the Southern region of the United States.
With an approximate 15-20 race schedule for 2018, Tyler Soileau will stay on as series director to continue its success, while Scot and Katie Maust of POWRi Align Pro Lonestar 600’s presented by K&K Earthworks will oversee the POWRi Louisiana 600’s. “This is going to be a fun opportunity for everyone involved,” stated Scot Maust. “With the creation of the POWRi Louisiana 600’s, we will be able to co-sanction more events together and continue to grow microsprint racing throughout the south. The fans, drivers, and teams are going to benefit greatly from this and should look forward to some great racing.” The Louisiana 600's is also proud to be able to have the ability to add a $2000 points fund this year. "I am super stoked to be able to give our drivers a point’s fund. Although it is not a large points fund it is a start and all good things start small" stated Tyler Soileau. The Top 3 in points will receive 1st $1000, 2nd $600, 3rd $400.
