YORK, PENNSYLVANIA (January 31st, 2018)-
On January 22nd, 2018 Chase Dietz announced his racing plans for the 2018 season. In addition to his lengthy schedule, Dietz added the USAC East Coast Sprint Car Series on his calendar.
A veteran to winged sprint car racing, Dietz says, “We are interested in the series because it is something different being introduced to this area. We are mainly restricted to all winged races in Central Pennsylvania unless the USAC National Series guys come into town for a week.”
Chase started racing in 2005 at only 7 years old. He started in go-karts, eventually transitioning to 600cc micro sprints and eventually 358, 360, and 410 sprint cars.
Dietz has a heavy schedule, and the team is unsure of whether or not they will make it to the two midweek shows, (Delaware International Speedway and Accord Speedway).
The Roger McKeehan owned Maxim Chassis Sprint car will likely be at every other USAC East Coast event. Chase explains, “My Dad had raced midgets with ARDC years ago and had some success without a wing, so I’m glad I get the opportunity to get some wingless experience as well.”
Making this possible are all of Dietz’s sponsors, Mike Henry’s Lawn Service, Susquehanna Valley Pain Management, Haas Shocks, Start to Finish Roll Off LLC, K1 Racegear, Maxim Chassis, Bell Helmets, Highland’s Powersports, RRI Designs.
