DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (January 29, 2018) - Ryder Laplante of Calera, Oklahoma will chase the Restricted 'A' Class championship again in 2018 with the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass.
After two straight seasons of coming up one spot shy of the National Championship behind Daison Pursley. Laplante is looking to best that spot and dethrone Pursley in 2018.
In 2017, Ryder Laplante saw Lucas Oil NOW600 Victory Lane eight times. 2/18 at Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas; 3/3 at Wichita Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas; 3/9 at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla.; 3/25 at 281 Speedway in Stephenville, Texas; 7/14 at RPM Speedway in Crandall, Texas; 9/16, 10/20 and 10/21 at Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kan.
Ryder also had 17- Top 5 finishes and 18- Top 10's out of 22 Restricted 'A' Class starts with the National Series.
According to car owners, Kevin and Amy Laplante, Ryder will also compete in select Winged A-Class events during the 2018 season.
