Inside Line Promotions – TULSA, Okla. (Jan. 11, 2018) – Half of the four preliminary nights have been completed at the 32nd annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals Presented by General Tire.
Two-time event champion Rico Abreu outlasted Tyler Thomas in an epic slide fest on Wednesday evening to lock into Saturday’s A Main – along with third-place finisher Kevin Thomas Jr. The three join Tuesday’s podium finishers of Kyle Larson, Brad Sweet and Tyler Courtney as A Main starters in Saturday’s finale.
Approximately 85 additional competitors will take part in Thursday’s preliminary night inside the River Spirit Expo Center. Defending Chili Bowl champion Christopher Bell, Paul McMahan, Jerry Coons Jr., former Chili Bowl champion Cory Kruseman, Shane Stewart, Ryan Bernal, Tanner Thorson and David Gravel are among a stacked list of drivers set to compete.
RacinBoys Broadcasting Network will continue to provide live Pay-Per-View video, which features multiple cameras, replays, interviews and more. Hot laps are scheduled for 4 p.m. (Central).
Scott Traylor will anchor the broadcast with Justin Zoch, Bryan Gapinski, Brian Ward and Kaleb Hart sharing the announcing booth this week. Brandon Hahn will serve as a pit reporter and four-time Chili Bowl winner Kevin Swindell will offer his expert analysis.
The price to watch the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals is only $29.99 per day.
Important to note, the live broadcast of the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals finale on Jan. 13 will only be the preliminary races up to the MAVTV television broadcast and live stream on Lucas Oil Racing TV, which is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. (Central) with the B Mains.
