Inside Line Promotions – TULSA, Okla. (Jan. 10, 2018) – The 32nd annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals Presented by General Tire got off to a rousing start on Tuesday inside the River Spirit Expo Center.
NASCAR sensation Kyle Larson held off World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series competitor Brad Sweet for the preliminary night victory with Tyler Courtney rounding out the podium. Those three drivers locked into Saturday’s A Main after besting more than 80 fellow racers.
Round 2 of the marquee midget event is slated for Wednesday and the RacinBoys Broadcasting Network will continue to provide live Pay-Per-View video, which features multiple cameras, replays, interviews and more. Hot laps are scheduled for 4 p.m. (Central).
Five-time Chili Bowl champion Sammy Swindell, nine-time World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series champion Donny Schatz, NASCAR driver J.J. Yeley and two-time Chili Bowl champion Rico Abreu are among the nearly 90 drivers slated to compete on Wednesday.
Scott Traylor will anchor the broadcast with Justin Zoch, Bryan Gapinski, Brian Ward and Kaleb Hart sharing the announcing booth. Brandon Hahn will serve as a pit reporter and four-time Chili Bowl winner Kevin Swindell will offer his expert analysis.
The price to watch the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals is only $29.99 per day.
Important to note, the live broadcast of the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals finale on Jan. 13 will only be the preliminary races up to the MAVTV television broadcast and live stream on Lucas Oil Racing TV, which is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. (Central) with the B Mains.
