26 Promotions – Peoria, AZ – (October 17th, 2017) – After two nights of non-wing action for the Hall of Fame Classic two weeks ago, Dale Eliason Jr and the Power 600 Series bolted the wings back on for Octoberfest at Canyon Speedway Park.
“We left the house more than ready for the night. I first walked up to the track and noticed that there was little to no water on it,” explained Eliason Jr. “I told my dad it was going to be really slick, even in the heats, so we tried some new stuff on the car.”
Eliason Jr finished third from fifth in his heat, placing him on the outside of the fourth row for the start of the feature.
“We tightened the car up a lot, but I guess it wasn’t enough for the main,” he said. “Starting eighth, I fell back three spots on the first lap. I moved the wing all the way back, trying to tighten the car more with three to go and made my way back to finish eighth.”
The Iceman returns to action this weekend as the wings come off again for Canyon Speedway Park’s Race for the Cure.
Dale Eliason Jr would like to thank Affordable Powder Coating, Copper State Bolt & Nut, Custom Caretaking Plus INC, DOLCRX, Guhl Motors, HJ Tile, Industrial Machinery Services, PMP Chassis, Seros Racing Engines, and T & K Repair for their continued support.
