[b SEBASTOPOL, CA 5-22-10] - Coming off another strong top five finish at his home town track, Sebastopol's Bradley Terrell is looking to adventure away from the Petaluma Speedway All Pro Series this coming weekend to return to competition in the competitive Hoosier Racing Tires Civil War Sprint Car Series.

With his home track series taking a night off, Terrell will head to the high banks of Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico on Sunday night for a special Memorial Day weekend event. It's the Silver Dollar Fair in Chico and the quarter-mile oval will be home to one of the North Bay driver's favorite venues, the Civil War Series.

"I love racing at Chico, especially during the fair it's a blast," said Terrell. "I'm looking forward to going back there and it will be the first time we will make it there this year. I'm going to try and hit all my marks and have a good solid run."

So far in the Civil War Sprint Car Series Terrell has been doing well at hitting his marks, he recently advanced six positions into seventh in the overall point standings and has two top finishes in the three events that have taken place so far. Entering round four, Terrell is 39-points out of the lead in the series that visits six different tracks for 15 different events during the year.

"We are hoping to continue racing in the series, we are off to one of the best starts we have ever had in the Civil War," said Terrell. "It's all going to depend on funding. Right now I am really in need of sponsorship so we can remain competitive in this deal."

Last Saturday night at Petaluma Speedway Terrell maintained his current All Pro Series point lead with a fourth place finish in the 25-lap feature event. The entire night was one of smooth success for Terrell and his family owned #43 team at the track they call close to home. Although Terrell really wants to travel this year, he has found himself in the position to possible win the Petaluma Speedway championship should he continue to prosper at the 3/8 mile track where he cut his teeth in the sport of sprint car racing.

In qualifying last Saturday, Terrell turned the seventh fastest lap of the night with a 13:624. In heat race competition he drove from third to second place. A straight up inversion placed him seventh in the feature event line up.

Taking the green flag from the inside of the fourth row, Terrell set his sights on a top five finish early in the race. With four laps down he overtook fellow racer Brandon Davis for the fifth position and on the 11th circuit he passed Camron Mendes for the fourth position. Once he drove into the fourth position Terrell maintained that status all the way to checkered flag where he trailed Bobby McMahan, Mike Benson and Ricky Wright Jr. at the finish line.

"It was a good night for us," said Terrell. "I would have liked to get up and race for another win but I just couldn't close in on them in time. Fourth place is good for us in the points though. I finished ahead of Wright and Mendes to stay on top so that’s good."

While he seeks additional sponsorship, Bradley Terrell is grateful for his continued supporters for the 2010 racing, many of which helped out these past two weeks to get him prepared for the All Pro Series opener. Among his marketing partners are Millhouse Glass, the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians, Randy Hanson Auto Body and Paint. Vanlare Steering Repair, A1 Shower and Mirror Incorporated, Knockout Signs, Santa Rosa Moving & Storage, Altes Engineering, and 4 Wheel Parts.
