At a Glance: Circle K NOS Energy Outlaw Showdown at The Dirt Track at Charlotte & Inaugural Event at Tri-City Speedway in Pennsylvania

Concord, NC—May 24, 2010—

WHAT
•Memorial Day Weekend will find the World of Outlaws at The Dirt Track at Charlotte for the Circle K NOS Energy Outlaw Showdown on Friday, May 28 followed by an inaugural event at Tri-City Speedway in Pennsylvania on Sunday, May 30. The Circle K NOS Energy Outlaw Showdown will also be broadcast live on SPEED beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern on Friday. Joey Saldana, who was victorious twice last season at the track, including in the spring race leads the series back to Charlotte as he chases his first World of Outlaws title. Jason Meyers, who won the opener of the World Finals last year, is currently second in points just 14 markers behind Saldana. A few of the drivers competing full-time with the series have raced at Tri-City Speedway in the past, including Saldana who has a couple of wins at the track, as well as 20-time series champion Steve Kinser who won at the half-mile in 2006.

WHEN
•On Friday, May 28 at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, the pit gates will open at 1 p.m. Eastern, with the grandstand gates opening at 4:30 p.m. Eastern and hot laps are set for 6:15 p.m. Eastern with time trials to follow. Racing is set for 7:25 p.m. Eastern.

•On Sunday, May 30 at Tri-City Speedway, the pit gates will open at 3 p.m. Eastern, with the grandstand gates opening at 2 p.m. Eastern for those who purchased tickets in advance and 3 p.m. Eastern for those purchasing tickets the day of the race with hot laps set for 6:30 p.m. Eastern and time trials to follow.

WHERE
• The Dirt Track at Charlotte is located in Concord, North Carolina. Take I-85 to Exit 49 (Speedway Blvd./Concord Mills, then travel East towards the Speedway. There is parking available on the right.

•Tri-City Speedway is located in Franklin, Pennsylvania, 7.1 miles north of U.S. 322 on State Road 417, then 0.2 miles east.

TICKETS
•On Friday, May 28 at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, adult tickets will be $25, with tickets for children (12-under) just $10. To purchase tickets visit http://www.charlottemotorspeedway.com or call 1-800-455-3267.

•On Sunday, May 30 at Tri-City Speedway, adult general admission tickets will be $35, with children 10-under admitted free of charge. For tickets call the track at 814-676-3000.

•The Dirt Track at Charlotte is a high-banked four-tenths-mile oval. The track record of 11.880 seconds was established by Jeff Shepard on October 6, 2001.

•Tri-City Speedway is a high-banked half-mile oval. The track record of 14.615 seconds at 123.161 mph was established by Ed Lynch Jr. on September 20, 2009.
