Four champions will be crowned this Saturday at Grays Harbor Raceway for the 2017 Season Championship presented by Our Community Credit Union. The 360 Sprint Cars, Shipwreck Beads Modifieds, Cut Rate Auto Parts Street Stocks and the Outlaw Tuners will take to the 3/8 banked clay oval one final time for 2017.
Snohomish driver Reece Goetz has a 23 point lead over his brother Chase Goetz in the 360 Sprint Car division. Jay Cole of Shelton, Renton's Jeff Dunlap and Jason Reed of Elma round out the top five. Reece Goetz has 3 wins on the season and will look to make it two championships in a row, as he was the 2016 360 Sprint Car Champion. Seabeck's Kyler Moore, Tyson Blood of Olympia, and Brian Harding of Oakville round out the top five. Hoquiam's Jack Parshall sits at the top of the Cut Rate Auto Parts points standings with a 48 point lead over Jason Tole of Hoquiam. Parshall will look to pick up his fourth championship in a row, as he won the Street Stocks championship in 2014, 2015, and 2016. Scott Fritts of Montesano, Spanaway driver Tom Hecker and Shane Kerrigan of Aberdeen round out the top five. Tyler Sundstrom of Hoquiam currently sits at the top of the Outlaw Tuners division with a 67 point lead over Shelton's Dale Speas. Aberdeen driver Cory Sweatman, Josh Wharton of Tenino, and Shelton's Jared Stevens round out the top five.
