ALL ENGINES
All engines must start out as production 600cc four cylinder four stroke engines. ENGINES SHALL REMAIN STOCK BORE AND STROKE AS ORIGINALLY MANUFACTURED FOR THAT PARTICULAR ENGINE'S MODEL AND YEAR. 600cc MAXIMUM DISPLACEMENT. No turbo or supercharging. All cars must have a noise eliminating exhaust. The top 3 feature finishers shall be teched for bore and stroke. Any car returning to their pit area prior to reporting to the tech area SHALL be disqualified. Tech officials will direct a team representative to remove any number of spark plugs for the purpose of teaching the engine. Only 2 representatives of the car being teched will be allowed in the designated tech area during the teaching procedure. Bore and stroke must measure within the OEM. Any engine found to be illegal will result in disqualification
CAR WEIGHT
All cars must weigh a minimum of 775 pounds with the driver. All cars must report to the scales to be weighed after competing in each heat race and before returning to your pit area. All feature finishers being teched shall first report to the scales to be weighed before reporting to the tech area. Any car returning to their pit area prior to being weighed SHALL be disqualified. No points or money will be awarded/paid to disqualified cars.
FUEL
E15, E85 ethanol and methanol are the only fuels permitted. NO PERFORMANCE ENHANCERS OR OTHER ADDITIVES ALLOWED, with the only exception of top end lubricants manufactured specifically for that purpose. All cars are subject to random fuel checks during any event.
TIRES
HOOSIER tires only on the entire car. Any compound will be allowed. Any car found competing with any other manufactured tire will be disqualified. TIRE DOPING IS PROHIBITED.
TRACTION CONTROL DEVICES
Absolutely no traction control devices of any kind will be allowed.
NUMBERS
All cars shall display a number of 8 inches minimum height on each side of the tail fuel cell and 12 inches in height on each side of the top wing.
RACECEIVERS
The use of Raceceivers one-way communications is MANDATORY for all drivers anytime you are on the track in a race car. Drivers shall provide their own Raceceivers. Any race team found using one-way or two-way communications at any time during any race will be disqualified.
PASSING POINTS
The heat race(s) will be lined up by pill draw. The feature race will be lined up using the ECS passing point system. Passing point ties will be decided by the drivers draw.
All points are calculated on line-up position
You must take the green flag to collect points for ANY race.
SPIN/STOP/YELLOWS ON THE TRACK
Any driver causing a caution (yellow flag), whether coming to a complete stop or not, shall go to the tail for the restart. Stopping is defined as a complete loss of momentum for any period of time. The track officials shall determine who is involved in the caution (yellow flag). If any Car(s) brings out a yellow on the START of a Race that Car(s) will be sent to the back on the lineup on the restart. *No Car(s) will be charged a YELLOW on the Initial START of a race if they are the cause of the Yellow - After 1 lap complete any yellow will be charged to the all Car(s) involved.
At ECS if you are charged with 2-Yellows ( you will be SENT to the infield. - In other words on your 2nd yellow you are done with that race.
Failure to follow the directions of track officials during any race will result in disqualification in that race, You are required to leave the race track if you are disqualified (black flagged). If you refuse to leave the race track after being notified, you will be disqualified for the remainder of the event.
**Sportsmanship is HUGE at ECS
** Do not enter the scoring tower at anytime - You will be DQ'd
**PitPasses are required at all times to enter the Pit area- Driver maybe DQ'd if crew does not have pit passes visible
ALCOHOL BEVERAGES
- Alcohol beverages are not allowed in the pit area. During the RACE Program
- Anyone observed drinking any type of alcohol during the race program will be disqualified.
- You are responsible for your pit crew members. If a member of your pit crew is observed drinking alcohol you will be disqualified.
