[b SEBASTOPOL, CA 5-10-10] - After a series of special events away from home, Sebastopol's Bradley Terrell returned to his home track of Petaluma Speedway Saturday night to compete in round two of the 2010 All Pro Sprint Car Series. While the night didn't garner a desired victory, Terrell was one of the few cars that managed to advance through the field Saturday night in an event where many competitors were just able to hold their starting position from start to finish.

"It was a tough track on Saturday, just really hard to pass on this week," said Terrell. "Late in the race I managed to find something to work with but it was a too little too late to make a big difference. I'm happy with our finish but I think we could have done better had we known how the track was going to be for the feature."

Terrell finished third in Saturday's 25-lap feature event. The top three finish was hard earned, however, as the 2009 bridesmaid to the championship started sixth in the field and was faced with advancing in an event where single file seemed to be the nature of the beast from the pole position back. Known for his ability to work through traffic at the lighting fast Petaluma Speedway, Terrell put his accelerator, steering and his patience to work from the drop of the green flag and began his lengthy journey into the top three.

On the second lap of the event, Terrell reached the fifth position where he remained for two more circuits before he advanced into the fourth position. For much of the event Terrelly remained in the fourth position as he searched for a faster line than that of third place runner Roberto Kirby of Santa Rosa. It wasn't until the last lap the Terrell managed to slip into the third position and garner a podium finish for the second point race of the season.

"I got up to fourth pretty fast and then I just couldn't seem to make anything work to close the gap at that point," said Terrell. "Time was running out and the track was running out so I knew I had to figure something out. Nothing like waiting until the last lap to make a move but I'll take it."

In preliminary action on Saturday night, Terrell drove from fifth place into third place in the 8 lap heat race. In qualifying he turned a 13:194 second lap to secure the third fastest qualifying position of the night. In the A-feature Terrell finished behind Camron Mendes and Jeremy Burt whom he joined on the podium at the checkered flag.

This Saturday, Terrell returns to Petaluma Speedway as 2010 All Pro championship season resumes. In the coming weeks his schedule will include Civil War Series events at Ocean Speedway in Watsonville, Chico and one back at his home track of Petaluma Speedway.

"I'm really enjoying the Civil War this year," said Terrell. "I wish we could travel more but Petaluma is really close to home and we need additional sponsorship to do something like that. I'm looking forward to running the Civil War at my home track next month for sure."

Bradley Terrell is grateful for his continued supporters for the 2010 racing, many of which helped out these past two weeks to get him prepared for the All Pro Series opener. Among his marketing partners are Millhouse Glass, the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians, Randy Hanson Auto Body and Paint. Vanlare Steering Repair, A1 Shower and Mirror Incorporated, Knockout Signs, Santa Rosa Moving & Storage, Altes Engineering, and 4 Wheel Parts.

Bradley Terrell is seeking additional sponsorship for the season ahead. Title sponsorship of the #43 sprint car is available with premier advertising space and great publicity with a very positive, energetic race team.
