Mechanicsburg, PA - Abottstown, PA - (May 7-8, 2010) --- Another weekend of Sprint Car racing would devour Brian Montieth's focus along with the Premier Auto Works Racing Team. The Jerry Parrish-owned No. 21 would race at Williams Grove Speedway Friday, which would also serve as a tune-up before the traveling World of Outlaws roll into town and attempt to carry out the Pennsylvania hardware. The team would cap off their weekend at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday.

Montieth's weekend began by circling the famed Williams Grove Speedway ½-mile dirt oval in the Scott Zellers wrenched Triple X chassis, posting the ninth quickest-time out of the 28 cars in attendance. "The Edge" would start fourth in his heat race and finish second, which would start the always exciting driver fourth on the 24 car starting grid.

Chad Layton and Stevie Smith charged toward the green flag for the start of the 30-lap feature event. Layton got the jump with Smith in tow. Brian was running third, and a heated battle broke-out with Smith, Alan Krimes, and Hodnett with Brian running the No. 21 right up against the fence the whole way around the ½-mile speedway. Confusion would ensue on a lap-29 red flag, which also left fans scratching their heads for a fuel stop after a couple of the competitors ran out of fuel. After the lineup was "sorted out", Brian would restart sixth. When racing resumed, Brian was able to pass Rick Lafferty eventually taking the checkered flag in fifth.

Saturday, the Premier Auto Works Racing Team was off to the Pigeon Hills to do battle on Lincoln Speedway's 3/8-mile dirt oval. Tough luck would strike Brian last Saturday while running in fourth place, when Kerry Madsen spun on lap-24, collecting the fourth place running Montieth during the All Star A-Main.

Montieth finished fourth in his ten-lap heat race after starting eighth, and in the 30-lap feature, Brian flashed under the checkered flag to finish in the sixth position after charging from his tenth position. Brian's sixth place finish at Lincoln Speedway has been his best since April 10, where he wheeled the Premier Auto Works No. 21 from 16th to second in a hotly contested 30-lap feature.

Montieth will return to action in Premier Auto Works Triple X chassis at Williams Grove Speedway for the World of Outlaws event on Thursday and Friday night. He will also return to action Saturday at Lincoln Speedway.
