BYRAM, Miss. (August 10, 2017) The rain just keeps on falling at Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Miss. and with the heavy amounts that have already come down, along with the high chance of continued precipitation the rest of the week and into raceday, officials with the Mississippi oval have called off this weekend’s showdown between the Lucas Oil ASCS Southern Outlaw Sprints and USCS.
A makeup date is being sought. If arranged, information will be released to http://www.ascsracing.com.
The series is slated to fire up again at Crossville Speedway in Crossville, Tenn. on Friday, August 25 before teaming up with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network on Saturday, August 26 at Smoky Mountain Speedway.
