DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (Aug. 9, 2017) - The touring titans of the Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass will get back into action on Friday, August 18 and Saturday, August 19 with the series' return to the state of Texas.
For the first time in series history, the Oklahoma based, Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Tour along with the Dallas based Driven Midwest NOW600 North Texas Region will take on the invaders from the Houston based, POWRi Lonestar 600's in a Texas sized shootout.
$1000 is on the line both nights for the Stock Non-Wing division with $150 just to start the Main Event while the Restricted 'A' Class battles it out for $300 to win.
The two night North/South Shootout will kick off on Friday, August 18 at the RPM Speedway in Crandall, Texas and then up the road to Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas on Saturday, August 19.
Both nights are scheduled to kick off at 8PM. Lonestar 600 officials have set the Drivers Meetings for both events at 7PM.
The Draw for the weekend will not follow normal NOW600 procedures. Drivers will be able to draw anytime before the Drivers Meeting. Draw will close at the Drivers Meeting. Draw will be $10 and payable when you draw.
Both series will work equally on nightly procedures.
