Sun Prairie, Wis., August 8---A weekend doubleheader awaits The Mid-State Equipment /Zimbrick Chevrolet of Sun Prairie Badger Midget Racing Series,
at Wilmot (Wis.) Raceway on Saturday Night August 12 before returning to Angell Park Speedway the following evening August 13.
Badger makes their first appearance at the Wilmot Raceway in four years with the return of the "Eighth annual Salute to Harry Turner". Previous winners of the event include: Brad Kuhn (2006, '11,'13), Mike Hess (2005), Chad DeSelle (2007), Brad Loyet (2009), and Andrew Felker (2012).
Racing action will also include the Wisconsin Wingless Sprint Car Series, Modifieds, Street Stocks and Vintage Modifieds. Pit gates open at: 3:00 pm; grandstands at 5:00 pm; hot laps at 6:00 pm, racing to follow.
The following night a $3,000 first place check awaits the winner of the "Tribute to Mike Fell Memorial race, presented by Howard Law" at Angell Park Speedway. The event honors the Sun Prairie driver who was the 1995 Badger Midget Rookie of the Year and Badger's 1996 Most Improved Driver. Fell tragically lost his life at the track in an accident during the Trophy Dash on May 25, 1997.

The event will also features the Wisconsin Wingless Sprint Car Series, Midwest Sprintcar Association and the Wisconsin Dirt Racing Legends Series. Grandstands open at 4:30 pm, practice and qualifying beginning at 5:30 pm, with racing to follow.
