This coming weekend will mark the start of the 2010 season for White Lightning Motorsports driver Jamie Ball. Due to the weather on April 24th practice night at the Knoxville Raceway has been postponed until Friday April 30th. The following day Saturday May 1 will mark the start of the racing season. The Knoxville Raceway Championship Cup Series kicks off with Pella Motors/Lions Club night plus 305 sprint cars. Jamie will be looking to get some much needed track time on Friday in order to get as comfortable as possible for opening night. The first night of sprint car racing will see Jamie pull double duty. He will be racing both his 305 and 360 sprint cars. When asked about the upcoming weekend Jamie said “This weekend is going to be a dream come true. Since I was 8 years old I wanted to follow in my dad’s footsteps. It will be exciting to hit the track and to see all of our teams hard work finally pays off.” Racing is slated to start with hot laps at 6:45 pm, time trials at 7:15 pm and racing around 8:00 pm. So come out and support the entire White Lightning Motorsports team as they kick off the 2010 season at Knoxville Raceway.
Don’t forget to stop down at the pits and pick up your new Jamie Ball Racing t-shirts and hats! Jamie would like to thank the following: L & J Enterprise, Delta Oil, JJ Kane Auctioneers, Iowa State Savings Bank, Fragola, VP Racing Fuels, Bell Helmets, Keizer Wheels, Driver Websites, Pro Shocks, Vortex Wings, Hoosier Racing Tire, DMI, King Racing Products, BR Motorsports, Wilwood Brakes, and all other family and friends for their support.
