Inside Line Promotions – KNOXVILLE, Iowa (July 31, 2017) – Mark Burch Motorsports and Danny Lasoski have an outstanding track record together at the famed Knoxville Raceway, where the duo has combined to earn a top-10 finish during each of the last five 360 Knoxville Nationals.

The last thing on the list for the team to check off is a trip to Victory Lane during the finale of the marquee event at Knoxville Raceway, which will host the 27th edition of the 360 Knoxville Nationals presented by Great Southern Bank this Thursday through Saturday.

“We have the utmost confidence, but you have to have a lot of luck,” said Lasoski, who is the winningest driver in the track’s history. “Mark does a phenomenal job of preparing the race car and that’s a major step toward giving yourself an opportunity.”

The duo won a preliminary night at the event during three of the previous four years entering last season, when Lasoski had to charge from 21st to a fifth-place result during preliminary action after missing a lock-in position to the main event by only one spot in the heat race.

“We never, ever quit,” he said. “We may be behind the eight ball, but we never quit. Both of us have the never-give-up attitude.”

That charge set the team up well for the finale, in which Lasoski powered to a runner-up result. It was the team’s best-ever finish during the 360 Knoxville Nationals finale.

Mark Burch Motorsports and Lasoski won preliminary nights in 2015, 2013 and 2012. The team placed eighth in the 2015 finale, 10th in 2014, sixth in 2013 and seventh in 2012.

A mechanical gremlin hampered the team last Saturday during 410ci winged sprint car competition at the half-mile oval. After qualifying fifth quickest, Lasoski exited the heat race early and the team was unable to start the B Main because of the problem.
