I-30 Speedway Next For ASCS Mid-South Region

TULSA, Okla. (July 26, 2017) Back at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark. on Saturday, July 29 the ASCS Mid-South Region hits the high-banked quarter mile known as “Hammer Hill” for the second time in 2017 with Tennessee’s Brian Bell leading the charge into Saturday showdown.

Six times a winner across several series of competition in 2017, Bell picked up his most recent triumph on Saturday, July 22 with the ASCS Red River Region at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kan. In the Mid-South Region’s last outing on July 2, Bell became the fourth winner in as many races on the season.

On the year, 43 drivers have taken part in at least on ASCS Mid-South event. Bell leads over Andy McElhannon by 10 points with Ernie Ainsworth trailing by 45. Justin Webb and Dakota Gains make up the top-five in series standings.

Including this Saturday’s event, only three ASCS races at the I-30 Speedway remain before teams invade for the 30th edition of the COMP Cams Short Track Nationals, happening October 11-14.

Saturday, July 29 at I-30 Speedway gets underway at 7:30 P.M. (CDT) and includes IMCA Modifieds, Super Stocks, Factory Stocks, Mod-Lites, and the Powder Puffs.
