TULSA, Okla. (July 19, 2017) A pair of nights in Oklahoma and Kansas are on the ticket this weekend for the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products with Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla. on Friday, July 21 followed by a showdown between the Red River Region and NCRA at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kan. on Saturday, July 22.
With rain claiming the season’s only other Regional date on May 19, this Friday’s Sprint Car spectacular at Creek County Speedway is the only time the ASCS Red River Region will be in action at the Oklahoma quarter-mile before pairing up with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network for the Fall Fling on October 27 and 28.
Featuring a $2,000 to win, $300 to start feature event, the Friday affair will also include Non-Wing Champ Sprints and Dwarf Cars with events going green at 8:00 P.M. (CDT). More information on Creek County Speedway can be found online at http://www.creekcountyspeedway.co as well as the track’s Facebook page.
Heading north of 81-Speedway on Saturday, July 22 to take on the best of NCRA, the date was added at somewhat short notice. A phone call to C. Ray Hall after it was announced that Texarkana 67 Speedway was closing, the veteran promoter didn’t hesitate to bring the two series together for a Saturday night showdown that will feature a $2,000 winner’s check.
July 23 at 81-Speedway goes green at 7:30 P.M. (CDT) with a card that includes Cruisers, Hornets, Rookie Modifieds, and NCRA Mod Lites. More information on 81 Speedway can be found online at http://www.race81speedway.com or on the track’s Facebook page.
